DESCRIPTION:What: Asian Jewish Chanukah!\nWhen: Saturday\, January 4th\, 2025 5-8pm\nWhere: Oakland (exact location sent upon RSVP) \nThe deets:\nJoin us for our annual Asian Jewish Chanukah party\, where we’ll sing our favorite Chanukah tunes\, nosh on latkes\, play games\, make crafts\, and gather around the warm glow of Chanukah candles with new and old friends.  \nWho is invited?\nThis event is open to Asian American Jews of all ages\, and their +1 guests. LUNAR defines ‘Asian American Jews’ as folks who identify as both Jewish (whether by heritage\, religion or culture) and Asian American – this includes mixed race folks\, transracial adoptees\, Asian Jews by Choice\, and more. We fully welcome those in the process of converting to Judaism\, or simply exploring Judaism. Children under 18 must be accompanied by an adult at all times. \nWhat is the cost?\nIn the spirit of keeping this event accessible\, we are offering tickets on a pay-what-you-can model. Donations help to cover food and supplies\, venue and insurance costs\, and equitable compensation for our organizers and staff. The true cost of attendance for this event is $50 per person.
