DESCRIPTION:Location: In-Person\, Berkeley CA \nCost: $9-$36 (sliding scale) \nJoin us for The Jewish Studio Process\, an immersive gathering where creative process offers new paths of discovery\, expression\, and connection. During this session you will learn about and experience the Jewish Studio Process—a unique methodology combining practices from the field of art therapy with a reimagined approach to Jewish learning and spirituality. Each month we will delve into a different theme while weaving together art-making and intentional reflection to nurture our creative spirits! Whether you’re exploring your creativity for the first time and seeking a supportive environment or looking re-invigorate your creative life\, The Jewish Studio Process will meet you where you are and invite you deeper. Come as you are—leave inspired and ready to embrace the journey ahead. \nFacilitated by Lee Bearson\nLee Bearson (he/him) is a JSP-trained facilitator who works as a web developer and graphic designer in Berkeley\, California. An inveterate attendee at various classes and lectures\, and a devoted student of Jewish texts\, Lee continues to deepen his engagement with Jewish culture and tradition through his art and learning. Over the years\, he’s created artwork inspired by the Jewish lifecycle and holidays. \nA Note About Fees: \nThe participation fee for this series is sliding scale $9-$36. Our goal is to never turn anyone away for lack of funds so please choose the price from our sliding scale that best meets your needs. If you are symptomatic or not feeling well\, please stay home and we will see you next time. \nA note about Studio accessibility:\nThere are three steps into the building and the bathroom is not ADA. During art-making time\, we will hang up paper on the wall so those who want to can stand to make art; we will also set up places to sit during art-making time if that is more comfortable for you.
