DESCRIPTION:American democracy is being tested in ways previously unimaginable. Join Moment Institute Fellows for a roundtable discussion about the state of our democracy and how the weaponization of antisemitism\, the breakdown of the Black-Jewish coalition and the new Christian nationalist movement are dividing our country by race and religion. Our distinguished fellows will also put forward ideas to reverse these disturbing trends\, restore a sense of safety and security for Jews and promote freedom of religion for all. \nNadine Epstein\, founder of the Moment Institute and Moment’s Editor-in Chief/CEO\, and co-host of Moment’s Wide River Project. \nIra N. Forman\, a former U.S. Special Envoy for Monitoring and Combating Antisemitism and founder of Moment’s Antisemitism Monitor. \nTom Gjelten\, a former NPR foreign correspondent and religion reporter\, is the author of the forthcoming story on Chrisitan Nationalism in Moment Magazine. \nDr. Sharon S. Nazarian\, the Vice Chair of the National Board of Directors at the ADL\, teaches Political Science and Middle Eastern Affairs at UCLA. \nEric K.
