DESCRIPTION:Join us to volunteer with DC Central Kitchen\, a close partner organization that uses volunteer help to transform 3\,000 pounds of otherwise wasted food into 5\,000 healthy meals for schools\, homeless shelters\, and social service agencies. Volunteers will work in their professional kitchen to chop vegetables\, sort fresh produce\, mix salads\, portion meals\, and more! \nThere is limited space for this program and registration is required for participation.
