Mount Pleasant, DC, Washington
More InformationThe apartment is a spacious 3bd/2ba, centrally located at the corner of 17th and Park. Common space includes connected living and dining rooms areas, furnished with two couches and a dining room table. Kitchen is equipped with new stainless steel appliances and lots of storage space. Apartment also features in-unit laundry and a large storage walkway (great for luggage and other bigger pieces of furniture).
Apartment has two entrances: one connected to the main, fob-access entryway of the building; the other a private, side-street doorway (perfect for quick entry and moving in and out). Building rooftop is also furnished, available to all tenants, and features views of National Cathedral and Washington Monument.
The building itself is in an amazing location. The apartment is extremely close to tons of restaurants in both Mt. Pleasant and Columbia Heights. Giant and other local grocery stores are all within walking distance. The Columbia Heights metro and DC USA shopping complex (featuring Target, Best Buy, etc.) are only a 10-minute walk. There are tons of buses just steps away from the apartment, including the H2, H4, H8, 42, 43, S1, S2, S4, and S9. Finally, if you're looking to enjoy a nice run or simply take in some nature, Rock Creek Park is just down the street.
Water is included with the rent, and electric/internet utilities are separate.
The bedroom can come with or without furniture - the dresser belongs to the landlord (can be removed if you want), and I'm willing to sell my furniture (bed/box spring/bed frame, desk, chair) if you're interested. The room also has a generous closet with plenty of rack space. The room includes its own private bathroom with a jacuzzi tub (the other two roommates share a second bathroom). Both roommates are young professional guys; one is an environmental activist and amateur standup comedian who is active in the DC Jewish community; the other is interested in museums, pop culture, and the arts. They are clean/friendly/outgoing and looking for a similar roommate.
