As GatherDC’s Digital Content Manager, Mary (she / her) is excited to keep young folks informed of everything Jewish life in the DMV has to offer. Hailing from North Carolina, Mary attended UNC-Chapel Hill’s journalism school, where she reported for regional newspapers and managed social media at The Daily Tar Heel. Upon graduating, she became an associate editor at the tech publication CNET. She later spent some time traveling and freelancing as a social media content producer.
When she’s not working, you can spot Mary lingering in Adams Morgan coffee shops, admiring the giant tortoises at the National Zoo, or keeping up her months-long Hebrew streak on Duolingo.
