Hi there! I am planning to move out of my awesome 2BR 2BA apartment in Arlington in April, which means my bright and roomy 1BR + full bathroom will be available! You’d be taking over a lease that runs until October 2023, with the option to renew yearly or month-to-month. Move in is flexible during the month of April. The apartment is a newly renovated unit in Columbia Crossing Apartments. This is a fantastic spot if you work in NoVA or if you commute to DC for work - we are just a few minutes from 395 and without traffic you can be in DC in 10-15 minutes. You’d be sharing the apartment with one roommate and her two very sweet cats.
About the room: -16’ 7” x 11’ x 9” - VERY spacious. I currently fit a queen size bed + 2 bed side tables, desk, dresser, and a reading chair. Two big windows look out at treetop level. -2 full-size closets -your own bathroom with great under counter storage and full-size tub (washer/dryer are located in your bathroom) -room will come unfurnished
About the apartment: -1134 sq ft - LOTS of communal space and a great patio. All furnished but with room for your creative flair. The apartment is on the 4th floor and has amazing lofted ceilings. The apartment was completely renovated in 2022, so it has new appliances and finishes, flooring, paint, etc. Washer/dryer in unit and shared with roommate. -Located in Columbia Crossing Apartments in the Penrose neighborhood of Arlington. Great community with a pool, gym, package room, resident and visitor parking lots + covered garage w/bike storage, and located directly next to a public park with tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts. -Less than 10 min drive to Clarendon or Pentagon City, 10 min drive to Baileys Crossroads (Trader Joe’s, Marshalls). Walking distance to Giant grocery, CVS, and restaurants/bars (including Bob & Edith’s - THE best diner in Arlington). -$1,425 is the base rent (but I am willing to subsidize down to $1,125). Parking ($65/mo) and a private storage unit are also available. Utilities typically run an additional $100/mo, depending on the season. -We ask that you help keep common areas (kitchen, living room, dining room, patio) clean, are comfortable with kitties in common spaces, and do not smoke in the apartment or on the patio.
