This role is through Avodah’s Jewish Service Corps. The Jewish Service Corps is a year-long program for individuals ages 21-26 to build a lifetime of leadership skills, an active Jewish community, a powerful professional network, and a more just America. Corps Members work full-time at placement organizations like Pathways to Housing DC while engaging in innovative programming and living in communal, pluralistic housing. In addition to a year of professional and personal growth, Corps Members receive a monthly living stipend, health insurance, a travel allowance, and housing. ACT Recovery Specialist/ Service Coordinator at Pathways to Housing DC: Pathways works to transform individual's lives by ending homelessness and supporting recovery for people with disabilities. The Service Coordinator works in a trans-disciplinary team (including Psychiatrist, nurses, addictions counselors, and peers) to provide clients with ACT (Assertive Community Treatment) services, including outreach, case management, counseling, advocacy, and more.
