Resetting the Table (RTT) equips leaders and communities with tools and skills to confront, honor, and learn from political differences. We work to build a shared sense of “we” that includes our political counterparts and their aspirations and concerns, even while directly confronting and investigating our differences. In our early years, RTT focused primarily on polarization in the American Jewish landscape surrounding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Today, we reach multi-faith clergy, journalists, bridge-building practitioners, conservative and progressive activists, Hollywood content creators, and thousands of Jewish professionals and lay leaders across the country. RTT has brought together more than 40,000 participants for courageous learning and dialogue across political divides. We have become a leading innovator and resource in the bridge-building field, and our method for building “healthy conflict” in communities and religious congregations is nationally recognized and highly sought after.
As a critical member of our team, the Program Associate will manage logistics, materials, and data collection for RTT programs and contribute to planning and outreach. The Program Associate will collaborate closely with the full program team to provide end-to-end support for RTT programs, working to ensure a seamless and positive experience for all program participants.
The Program Associate will attend dozens of RTT training sessions and programs, offering important practical support while learning RTT’s signature methodology and techniques for communicating across political divides. As the lead staff person preparing packets, surveys, and other program materials, the position involves an immersion in RTT’s toolkit – a great fit for an early-career professional interested in the fields of dialogue, deliberation, and bridge-building.
