Grants Manager, Resetting the Table

More Information

Resetting the Table (RTT) equips leaders and communities with tools and skills to confront, honor, and learn from political differences. We work to build a shared sense of “we” that includes our political counterparts and their aspirations and concerns, even while directly confronting and investigating our differences. In our early years, RTT focused primarily on polarization in the American Jewish landscape surrounding the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. Today, we reach multi-faith clergy, journalists, bridge-building practitioners, conservative and progressive activists, Hollywood content creators, and thousands of Jewish professionals and lay leaders across the country. RTT has brought together more than 40,000 participants for courageous learning and dialogue across political divides. We have become a leading innovator and resource in the bridge-building field, and our method for building “healthy conflict” in communities and religious congregations is nationally recognized and highly sought after.

Resetting the Table seeks a full-time Grants Manager to join our growing team. This position is ideal for exceptional writers and communicators with a dedication to courageous, constructive dialogue and deliberation across political divides. Working closely with the Executive Director and the full RTT team, the Grants Manager will capture RTT’s programs and impact in compelling narrative – crafting grant proposals and reports, providing updates to funders, and drafting additional writing for the organization. The Grants Manager will also manage day-to-day development processes, systems, and workflow, including tracking data and outcomes of programs. The Grants Manager will work to maintain and strengthen existing funder relationships and seek creative opportunities to expand resources to sustain and grow our critical work.

The Grants Manager will be the primary staff person responsible for managing, preparing, and submitting grant proposals and supporting materials. Responsibilities include:
• Write grant reports and proposals: You will work with RTT’s Executive Director and program team to distill RTT’s accomplishments and impact in ways that resonate with diverse stakeholders. This includes: synthesizing qualitative and quantitative outcomes into compelling narratives that capture the essence of each proposal and funding relationship; preparing proposals and reports for institutional partners in accordance with requirements and deadlines; engaging with staff across Resetting the Table’s team to learn RTT’s programs and gather stories for usage in development communications.
• Track data, outcomes, and impact: You will contribute to tracking and organizing all qualitative and quantitative programmatic data, including gathering information for reporting to funders and producing required updates and reports.
• Cultivate and maintain funder relationships: You will work with RTT’s Executive Director to build strong relationships with foundation funders. This includes maintaining a working knowledge of the interests and expectations of the organization’s major funders and conducting prospect research to ensure that RTT has a pipeline of grant opportunities to pursue.
• Manage grants and development systems: You will manage grant-related systems, including managing a calendar of foundation proposals and reports, tracking deadlines, maintaining and updating donor-related electronic files, organizing prospects, and related tasks.
• Contribute to communications: You will assist in writing other fundraising and communications materials, which may include newsletters, press releases, and other written communications.
