Project-Based Marketing Coordinator for Unique Theatrical Production

Seeking a marketing coordinator to join a dynamic team of producers, artists, and activists in creating a large-scale public musical theatre performance with a focus on uplifting the voices of the American worker and supporting the labor movement. This integral team member will be part of the lead creative producing team and support a variety of promotional and marketing activities while maintaining positive relations with team members from a wide variety of experiences; including artists, union organizers, politicians, and activists.

Seeking an individual who is:
- pro-union and passionate about theater as a vital civic activity
- has excellent organizational and creative-thinking skills
- honest, brave, and a transparent communicator
- anti-racist and a progressive thinker about radical inclusivity and anti-bias of all kinds
- curious to learn, eager to offer ideas, a self-starter
- has an excellent sense of design and understanding of information hierarchies
- has a basic understanding of theatre and of the labor movement

The Marketing Coordinator will:
- help create and execute the visual brand for this project including graphic design and creative oversight
- manage online advertising and promotions
- manage all social media accounts and advertising
- assist in creating and editing video content
- assist in writing content for press releases and marketing materials
- assist in curating the website presence and coordination between organizations
- vigorously and creatively pursue a wide variety of media opportunities

Project dates are May 1 - Sept. 6. Flexible schedule. We estimate about 10 hours of work per week. There is a volunteer internship position, but we hope to offer a stipend based on fundraising and project budget. A great opportunity for a driven and passionate development volunteer.
