DESCRIPTION:JUFJ and Sixth & I will hold a Shabbat Service to sing\, pray\, and hold each other in community immediately before the We Are All DC march begins. Following the service\, we will gather and march together as a Jewish contingent in the march and rally.  \nWe encourage anyone coming to the service and march to bring a tallit (prayer shawl) as a symbol of our Jewish spiritual practice. We will then engage in a somatic ritual combining Jewish tashlich\, yoga\, dance and Qigong elements to spiritually let go of what we do not wish to bring into the new year through guided movement. Next\, the incredibly talented Hasan Bhatti will lead us in a musical mincha. Hasan is a seasoned song leader whose original work is featured in the Let My People Sing songbook.
