SUMMARY:Sukkot Potluck with Bet Mishpachah and Jews United for Justice
DESCRIPTION:At its core\, Sukkot is a holiday that calls us to reflect on the places we live and the spaces we share. Today\, our unhoused neighbors are being targeted simply for existing\, even as the systems designed to support and house them face severe cuts at both the federal and local levels. \nJoin us for a meaningful community conversation led by Jews United for Justice about Sukkot\, homelessness in D.C.\, and real\, lasting solutions. \nWe invite you to gather with us in the sukka located in the EDCJCC parking lot. Please bring your own main meal\, a beverage of your choice\, and a side dish or dessert to share. In accordance with the EDCJCC’s kashrut policy\, we kindly ask that no meat be brought into the sukka. A havdala service led by Ruth Potts and Alex Carter will begin the evening. \n \nAccommodations: ADA Accessible Venue \n \nOrganization: Bet Mishpachah \n \nLivestream or Virtual: No\, it’s not
