SUMMARY:The Optimist Movie: An Intergenerational Story of Hope with Trafalgar Releasing
DESCRIPTION:Join us for the DC premiere of THE OPTIMIST — inspired by the true story of Herbert Heller\, a Holocaust survivor who escaped the Auschwitz-Birkenau death march at just 15 years old. \nFor more than 60 years\, Herbert kept his experiences hidden. It asks what happens when generations truly listen to one another — and how sharing our stories can bring healing and hope. \nWhy this moment matters: 20% of box office proceeds will directly support KAVOD’s Survivors of the Holocaust Emergency Fund\, helping provide dignified care to Holocaust survivors living in poverty today. \nJoin us. Bring a friend.
