He’s been called “arguably our best living historical novelist” (Christopher Buckley). He is also the author of eight books of nonfiction. He is the former literary editor of GQ and has has been a frequent contributor to The New Yorker\, The New York Times Book Review\, The Atlantic Monthly\, The American Scholar\, and other periodicals. \nThe program will be moderated by SCOTT SIMON\, host of NPR’s Weekend Edition and one of America’s most admired writers and broadcast journalists.
