SUMMARY:Shabbat in the Mountains: Delaware Water Gap Backpacking w/ Lech Lecha Journeys
DESCRIPTION:This is a 3-day / 2-night backpacking trip built around a full Shabbat in the outdoors\, centered on one of the most beautiful hikes in the region—the Mount Tammany–Sunfish Pond Loop. You can see our route on AllTrails.  \nWe’ll begin on Friday by climbing Mount Tammany\, known for its sweeping views over the Delaware Water Gap\, before continuing along the Appalachian Trail into quieter backcountry. DESCRIPTION:Please join JMAC for its inaugural relaunch! See info below: \nWhat is JMAC? JMAC is a monthly article club for Jews in their 20s/30s living in the DMV area. Meetings are 1.5 hours each\, once per month\, on Saturdays at 7pm at the EDCJCC.  \nWhat do you discuss? The articles will cover a wide range of topics such as tech\, culture\, parenting\, psychology\, education\, health\, civil liberties\, and more. In general\, articles will not be focused on Judaism specifically. Articles will typically take less than 30 minutes to read.  \nWhat if my beliefs or opinions are different from other members in the group? JMAC is a strictly non-partisan and non-ideological group\, and all political and religious backgrounds are welcome. The goal of meetings is to explore various topics together and test out ideas in a respectful\, collaborative way. The meetings are led by a moderator to help facilitate a productive dialogue.  \nWhat’s the time commitment? Very low!
