Alternative Yom Kippur Experience 2021/5782

by GatherDC Staff / July 27, 2021

We know a lot has happened since last year and that there’s both good and hard stuff to work through, which is why we can’t wait to create spaces where you can have a meaningful Yom Kippur which is nonjudgmental, guilt-free, God / Hebrew optional, rejuvenating, and most importantly–centered in community.

We invite you to choose one – or both– of the following to take part in this Yom Kippur.

Morning Experience

When: Thursday, September 16th at 10:00am

Where: Outdoors at Hook Hall, 3400 Georgia Ave NW

Who: This experience is open to Jewish and Jew-curious young adults of all gender identities, sexual orientations, races, ethnicities, backgrounds, abilities, and levels of religiosity. No previous Yom Kippur experience necessary.
