Aaron: What brought you to DC?
Lindsey: I moved to DC for the same reason as every fresh-out-of-college overachiever: to change the world. I’m a Colorado girl and thought I was being too spoiled by the amazing weather and gorgeous views so I came East.
Aaron: You work at the Israeli Embassy. What is your favorite thing about working there?
Lindsey: My favorite thing about working at the Embassy is that I get to go to Israel every day. There is a store that sells popular Israeli foods and I don’t speak the language, it feels just like being there.
Aaron: What is your favorite Jewish food?
Lindsey: Bagels, cream cheese, and lox with onions and capers. Yummm.
Aaron: Who is the coolest Jew?
Lindsey: Larry “Dr. Roots” Singer is the coolest Jew I know. He is the mastermind behind Zadik music which recently released their debut album “We Are One”. The music combines Reggae rhythms with traditional Jewish prayers. Check it out at www.zadikmusic.com! He happens to be my father, but he was a cool Jew first. He and my mom (who is also the coolest Jew) taught me to take the teachings of Judaism and make them my own.
Aaron: Finish the sentence: When the Jews gather…
Lindsey: They will most likely be at the GTJ Happy Hour on March 7th.
