Young Leadership of the Jewish Federation of Greater Washington is hosting a night that celebrates the next generation’s dedication to leadership, charitable giving and volunteerism: Impact DC.
The event’s 250 attendees will hear moving stories by those who have strengthened the community and will have the opportunity to share how they are making a difference in the Greater Washington area’s Jewish community as well. After the event young adults will be encouraged to continue to share their impact on-line through video submissions. All submissions will be entered into a raffle for an iPad 2.
The idea for the event was developed by a group of young leaders, who wanted to make an impact in our community. Impact DC Co-Chair Brad Buslik said, “I am inspired to help others make their own impact,” which was part of the catalyst for this event.
