All the single (Jewish) ladies… are reform?

Some 87 percent of the Orthodox young adults aged 18 to 34 are married, according to the study, and 91 percent of non-Orthodox Jews in that group are single. Source:

Aaron passed this on; Joshua Kaller correctly pointed out that this statistic is hardly surprising, but it still amused me, and I thought I should share it.

Apparently the Orthodox men listened a little more closely to Beyonce’s song and learned that if they like it, they “should put a ring on it.”

    This only applies to Baltimore, where there is a large concentration of married orthodox families, but something tells me that the disparity does indeed exist.
